The Bolton Cardiac Support Group is for people who have had heart attacks, or heart related problems, their close family and friends. The Group realises that people may feel very nervous about going to the group, and may well be anxious, depressed, lacking in confidence or facing a variety of life problems following a heart incident or facing up to surgery.

There is also a realisation of the strain which carers can feel when their partners or relatives are recovering. The Group tries to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can relax and meet others in similar positions, begin to share experiences and get information to aid recovery.

The Group meets regularly on Wednesday evenings at monthly intervals between 7.30 p.m. And 9 p.m. At the Friends Meeting House, Silverwell Street, Bolton (Parking facilities at Bolton Parish Church situated next door)

In-between meetings the Group holds Stretch and Relaxation classes every Monday evening at the same venue. At these session the Group practises stretch and relaxation techniques supervised by a qualified instructor.
